Tim and I were talking in bed this morning, and he told me he had been praying but his prayers kept running into something. My mind started hearing the phrase “up against a wall.” It brought back the memory of a song from my childhood that I could not remember very well. I could hear bits and pieces of the melody and a few words, so I told Tim what I was thinking and HE REMEMBERED THE SONG!!! We lay there and quietly said the words to the chorus together. I wanted to share the song with you. I hope it will help you like it is helping me.

Avalon – Praise The LordPraise The Lord By Avalon
Praise The Lord – Avalon
When you’re up against a struggle
That shatters all your dreams
And your hopes been cruelly crushed
By Satan’s manifested schemes.
And you feel the urge within you
To submit to earthily fears
Don’t let the faith your standing in
Secede to disappear

Praise the Lord.
He can work for those who praise him
Praise the Lord.
For our God inhabits praise
Praise the Lord.
For the chains that seem to bind you
Serve only to remind you
hey drop powerless behind you
When you praise Him

Now Satan is a liar
and he wants to make us think
That we are paupers, when he knows himself
We’re children of the King
So lift up the mighty shield of faith
For the battle must be won
We know that Jesus Christ has risen
So the works already done

Praise the Lord.
He can work for those who praise Him
For our God inhabits praise
Praise the Lord.
For the chains that seem to bind you
Serve only to remind you
They drop powerless behind you
When you praise Him

Praise the Lord.

What else can I do today but praise the Lord?! He never fails. His mercy is new every morning. He will not abandon me. He will not forsake me. His promises are true. He is faithful and just. His ways are not to harm but to prosper. His ways are higher than my ways. He is the Good Shepherd, the Provider, the Comforter, the Protector.

I have to praise Him.

Thank you for every single prayer for our family. Thank you.
