I woke up this morning to the sound of Tim’s voice instead of my alarm clock,

which immediately told me I had overslept!

I hopped up and began getting ready and immediately my thoughts were on all the things I probably wouldn’t have time to do.

Read the Bible.

Write to all of you.

Then I thought, “What will I say after yesterday?!?”

How can I put into words all the ways God spoke to me yesterday through friends, family, students, teachers……….

I definitely didn’t have time to write about all of that this morning.

And then,

wouldn’t you know it?!?!

God gave me just what I needed for this morning.

A coffee spill!

Yes, as I was rushing to get ready, my cup of coffee jostled in my hand and sloshed on the counter.

And there it was…………

When my cup overflowed, love spilled out.

That’s how I felt yesterday.

That’s how I feel today.

I knew as soon as I saw this “heart spill” that I was suppose to take time to share my love with all of you….

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.
