Just as our garage underwent an extreme makeover (thanks to many wonderful friends and family!), Nick’s website is also undergoing major changes!
For the past several years, I have tried to keep Nick’s website current with news and photos. Since April, I have somehow gotten extremely far behind on uploading pictures to his site.
I just wanted to let you all know that I have made a commitment to myself that I will not post another blog until I have Nick’s website all caught up! When that task is complete, I am going to come back and begin updating my blog postings and blogroll as well as visiting all of your blogs!
Until then, please stop by http://www.nick7-11.zoomshare.com/ and see how Nick’s site is looking!
I love you all so much!
Just a quick prayer request before I sign off:
Nick has an appointment in Cincinnati on Thursday at 10 a.m. with Dr. Faloudi (his latest oncologist). Please pray that we can pull together some treatment options for Nick that will prove to be successful. Nick’s tumors are visibly growning on the side of his head, and we want so desperately to get this cancer under control.
With God all things are possible.
Thankful for each of you,

In December of 2007 as our youngest son, Nick, was fighting brain cancer, I began to blog. Writing provided a way for me to release all of my questions, fears, and doubts. It also allowed me to share the ups and downs of Nick's journey with people who were praying for him all over the world. When Nick went Home in November of 2008, my blog became my way of searching for God in the midst of my deep heartache. My heart was broken and grief brought to the surface every emotion imaginable. Being able to release those emotions through my writing brought a sense of purpose to my pain. Having already walked the road of grief in 1992 when we lost our daughter to SIDS, I knew I needed a way to keep from falling into a pit of depression and despair. I had walked close to the edge of a bottomless pit when we lost our daughter, and I knew I couldn't let myself get that close to the edge again. This blog has been and continues to be my tiny corner of the world where I can share My Heart as I journey through God's Word.......thus the name........ My Heart His Words. Thank you for taking time to share life with me. If we do not meet while here on earth, I look forward to hearing all about your life when we reach our final destiny.........Heaven! Email me anytime at

Praying
You all continue to be in my prayers.

Can’t wait to check out Nick’s blog (going there right after this)…so curious about the garage – do you have any “after” pictures! What a wonderful gift for Nick (Tyler’s Make-a-wish dream was to redesign our basement…well, ONE of them!! Teenage boys love their space)
Give Nick a hug…will definitely be praying for your appointment. Love ya much,
Jennifer
