Resting on His Promises,
I am out doing some blog hopping and landed here.
I would like to invite you to join us for an online Bible study for MOMMAS on the book of Ephesians. We are using Jean Stockdale’s workbook called “High Stepping in Heavenly Places.” The 10-week study will begin Sept.24. A workbook is available with homework for 5 days a weeks. You will also be able to watch a 45-minute weekly video or download a podcast of the message, and then share in an online discussion with other moms. Interested. Get more details at http://highsteppinginheavenlyplaces.wordpress.com or at Jean’s blog at http://jeanstockdale.typepad.com. Blessings.
Thank you for adding the pillow picture, Tammy. Yesterday, the Lord reminded me of some of these passages and others on resting in Him and giving Him my cares. I never associated it with a pillow, but what a perfect picture of resting in God!
Be still and know….
One of my favorite verses – and one that I especially need for today! Thanks for sharing.
Hugs, Jennifer
Hi sweetie,
I needed to be reminded tonight to rest in Him. I am sitting in a hotel in Dallas praying my suitcase will get here so I can climb into my jammies and get some rest. My luggage missed the plane today!
I keep thinking, “I can’t rest until I get my pajamas on.” Then I came to your blog and God reminded me that all I need is to come to Him and rest in Him while I wait for my suitcase to arrive.
I’ve been thinking about you so much lately. I wanted to call you to ask you something that I’d like to share in my D6 message about you but I have not had a chance to call. Now I know you are busy working on your message for your retreat. Would you have 5 minutes to talk tonight? I am going to email you too.
Hugs,
Renee
Oh no, I don’t have your email. Just your cell number. But I dont want to stress you out if I call. Will you facebook me if you don’t mind me calling you?
Renee
What a great reminder…I actually posted something about for everyone in need of rest today! And last week I wrote about Matthew 11:28 – gosh that scripture has definitely gotten me through the last few weeks! Love it! http://blissfulbeyer.blogspot.com/2009/09/all-i-can-say.html
